In 1913 Emmeline Pankhurst called on women to stand up against oppression, to find their voice, and to find the courage not to be a ‘good girl’.

In a time when getting married meant that women would lose the rights to her income, property, children and even her own body, Pankhurst used this statement to rally women in to action.

“I would rather be a rebel than a slave” is part of her original speech.

Handmade and designed in Australia- slight natural variations will occur due to the handmade nature of our product.

Size: Approx. 12cm L x 4.5cm W

Weight: Light weight- a total weight of 14gms per pair

Description: Scarlet red earrings, white text with a slim white boarder. Diamante skull detail on left earring. Surgical steel studs for pierced ears.
